Is Nafas really women-only?

Yes, entirely. Every room, every class and every shared space at Nafas is reserved for women. It is a private environment by design, including for women who prefer to move unseen.

I'm a complete beginner. Will I feel out of place?

Not at all. Most of our community started exactly where you are. Classes are kept small and our instructors guide you at your own pace, there is no level you need to reach before you belong here.

Do I need to book in advance?

We recommend booking ahead so we can hold your spot, especially for reformer Pilates and spin, which have limited places. You can request a visit any time through our booking page.

Question 4

What should I bring or wear?

Comfortable clothing you can move in, and a water bottle. For Pilates and yoga, grip socks are helpful but not required. Everything else is provided in the studio.

Where exactly are you located?

We're on the first floor of Al Mawla Building on Main Street, Hamra, a short, walkable distance from AUB and LAU.

Can I just visit the café?

Accepted Answer

Of course. The Jade Lounge is open to our community whether or not you're taking a class, come for a matcha, stay for the calm.
